Can I select multiple characteristics from multiple SAP-BW Cubes?

Can I select multiple characteristics from multiple SAP-BW Cubes? or this is not supported yet, I received the below error when I tried to do so:

The Node "--" cannot be selected in this context because it belongs to a different aggregation root than the currently selected one.

What's mean of characteristics from multiple SAP-BW Cubes? Do you mean parameter?

I have multiple cubes where I want to use to build out a sample PowerBI report, How can I use multiple fields coming out of different SAP-BW Cubes for import queries? 

Also will the above work in case of direct query? Do I need to build out a single cube in order to build out a report for direct query?
