Can I see the last time the data was changed listed on a power bi report?

Can I see the last time the data was changed listed on a power bi report?

The data takes a little time refreshing and can be similar at times. I would like to see when the last time the dataset changed listed as a time stamp on my reports using that dataset.

Hi @dmckinney

There are two ways to view last refresh time:

1.With Power BI Service(online) only,

(1) showing refresh date directly when editing tile, see more details here.

(2) Or View related content in Power BI service

2. With Power BI Desktop and Service(online) together,

generate Last Refreshed Date with Power Query,

then create the Last Refreshed Measure and add it to dashboard,

For more details, please review the following blogs:

Display Last Refreshed Date in Power BI

Create a column in Power BI for last refresh date

Best Regards
Maggie

Hi @dmckinney ,

What about using a card with a measure like this:

Last time updated = MAX( factTable[date] )

Cheers,

Fernando

I am on a MAC and use POWER BI online only. Is there a way to apply a timed refreshed card online?
