I'm trying to build a report that shows very specific SharePoint usage, which the contents are currently in the Security & Compliance Center (protection.office.com) - is it possible to connect Power BI directly to that service rather than manually exporting files?
Hi @Anonymous,
As of now, it is not available to directly connect to Office365 audit logs from Power BI desktop. We have to export data first, then, load data into desktop. If you want to programmatically download data from the Office 365 audit log, we recommend that you use the Office 365 Management Activity API instead of using a PowerShell script.
Besides, here is an idea that shows a request for data connector to Office 365 Audit Log, you could click to vote it up.
Best regards,
Yuliana Gu
Sadly, no. I export the audit logs for similar reasons.
