Can I change data value from edit queries?

From edit queries, can I change all "1" to male and all "2" to female?  

i know i can create a new column and change them by if function.  but can i change them from the existing columns?

1) in the Query Editor - select the column - Home tab - Data Type - change to Text

2) right-click on the column - Replace Values - 1 - Male

3) right-click on the column - Replace Values - 2 - Female

Just as @Sean posted, you can replace it in Power Query Edit as follows, please test it. If it resolve your issue, please mark the corresponding reply as answer, so other people can find the solution.

ust want to change one cell, but it changes all the same value. For instance, I want to change "2" to "4" in E5. But it changes all "2" in other rows as well.

In the Query Editor, you can even click the data type icon  in the column header (in this case, the "123" icon) and change to Text.
