Can BI do access levels for different users?

In my report, can certain users only get access to certain areas of the report?  So i have slicers that filters by areas 1 - 4 and each employee belongs to only one area.  If employee Joe belongs to Area 1, I want him to only be able to click on area 1 in the slicer and be able to see data from that area.  He won't be able to see areas 2-4.  Is that possible to do in BI?

Hey @wpf_ ,

this can be done. the feature you are looking for is called Row Level Security. Here you will find an article, that explains how it works: Row-level security (RLS) with Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Docs

Hopefully, this provides what you are looking for.

Regards,

Tom
