Hi,
In one of the requirement, End- User wants to filter the Target .net web-page Data via filters (multiple fields/values) passed from Power BI page.
The Web- Page team are not in favor of accepting “selected values” from Power BI via simple Custom Hyperlink , due to security reasons.
One of the solution proposed by web-site team was to check if PBI can call Rest-API Post Method from Power BI .
Do you know if it this solution is feasible and is in right direction (calling Rest API Post Method from PBI and passing values) ? . If yes, do we need any additional ODBC driver /any additional configuration? Does anyone have example /doc which I can refer ?
As this is an additional requirement. We can avoid this method if it is too complex or feasible to implement .
Regards,
Amit
@sethi_amit , You want Rest API as data source

Or Call power bi

Hi,
I am not Rest-API expert. The solution we want is to pass the selected values (multiple) from PBI to .net web-page by calling Rest-API "Post Method" (specifically). The links you have provided tells that we can call Rest - API but it doesn't tell if we can call "Post-Method" or not .
