Calculation of Gender Diversity

Hi everyone 🙂

Here's a question that I've been trying to solve for a while, and I thought I could use your help!

So I have this table here and I am trying to produce a visual - a stacked column graph for 2 years, which will tell the % of females and males for the respective years. My table looks like this.

DeptLocationWorker TypeGenderYearCount
HRUKEmployeeMale201730
HRUKEmployeeFemale201710
HRUKContractorMale201720
HRUKContractorFemale201720
HRUKEmployeeMale201620
HRUKEmployeeFemale201610
HRUKContractorMale201640
HRUKContractorFemale201620
HRUSAEmployeeMale201720
HRUSAEmployeeFemale201730
HRUSAContractorMale201715
HRUSAContractorFemale20175
HRUSAEmployeeMale201620
HRUSAEmployeeFemale201640
HRUSAContractorMale201620
HRUSAContractorFemale201610
FinanceIndiaEmployeeMale201710

I know we need a measure or a calculated column here. Can someone tell me a technique that is easier, less complex and helps me produce the required visual?

Hi @Anonymous,

You can create a stacked column chart like below:
