Calculating Moving Annual Total with filter

Hello!

Im quite new to Power BI and DAX, but om finding a lot of good information here:) But i have an obstical I cant find an answer to..

I have a set of interview data and im trying to create a moving annaual total of the respondents that answered eg. 4 or 5. I have the following measure: 

45 MAT = CALCULATE(
DISTINCTCOUNT(Respondent[RespondentID]);
DATESINPERIOD(Dates[date];LASTDATE(Dates[date]);-1;YEAR)
FILTER(Questions; Questions[Value] = 5 || Questions[Value] = 4)
)

When I split i up by month I only det the count respondents that answered 4 or 5 for that month. I seams like the date range does not work. Am I not getting the syntax right?
