Calculating Market Share by Category

Hello,

I'm new to Power BI and I need help on calculating the market share by each unique code.

My data has unique code and calculated market share.

I would like to indicate "1" if the market share of each unique code is greater than 0.01.

Therefore, I wrote

Active1% = IF(calculate(divide([RTL 12M],[IND 12M]),allexcept('Geocode and Sales','Geocode and Sales'[Unique Code]))>=0.01,1,blank())

Could you please check if the DAX function is correctly entered?

If additional information is needed, please let me know.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you! Capture.PNG

Hi @hcho10

Your data is not clear, please share the data in copy / pasteable format always.

By going through your message, i guess you can try this:

Active1% = Var inMarketShare = <Your market share calculation>

Return

IF(inMarketShare>0.01,1,blank())

Thanks

Raj
