Calculated column using a parameter

Hi everyone.

I'm having this issue:

I have a table with two columns: Category (text type) and Value (decimal number type

And I created a Parameter:

- Whole numbers

- From 1 to 10

- Increase of 1

- Default value 5

I want to create a column that says whether the value in table1 is greater than the parameter.

Something like

NewColumn = IF ( table1[value] > Parameter, TRUE(), FALSE() )

When I do that, if I change the Parameter in a slicer, the column doesn't change.

I need it to be a column since I want to use it in an Axis or Legend.

Does anyone know if I can do this and how?

Thanks!

Re: Calculated column using a parameter

Columns are not dynamic like measures are in the way you want. You will need to do this in measures, if you can put it in the legend then I would suggest creating multiple measures and using those as your values. I cant provide a more indepth answer without more details.
