Calculated Measures: Aggregate based on different dimension

Hi All,

I have a number of calculated measures.

The measures in question need to calculate based on a 'Project' dimension grouping.

When I add both the Project dimension and the measures into a matrix, these calculate perfectly.

However, when I remove the 'Project' dimension, it calculates based on the 'Department' dimension exclusively, and the figures are wrong.

I need the visual to display on a 'Department' level, but the individual measures to calculate first on a 'Project' level and then aggregate up to a department level.

Can you guys help me out.

Would appreciate it.

Hi @Brianoreilly,

When you removed "project", the evaluation context changed. Did you use anything like "ALL", "ALLEXCPET" in your formula? Could you please share your formulas here? Maybe it's something wrong with the formulas.

Best Regards!

Dale
