I'm trying to create an expression that returns the period/date for the highest sales month. Example below is a line graph and the measure should return the period with the largest sales amount in this case it would be the highest of the sum of all revenue in that period.

It seems that you could cteate a measure with the formula below.
Measure 2 = CALCULATE ( MAX ( 'Sales Table'[Date].[Month] ), FILTER ( 'Sales Table', 'Sales Table'[Sales] = MAX ( 'Sales Table'[Sales] ) ) )
Here is my test result.
