Calculate shortest path using ArcGIS

Hello All,

I'm looking to want to calculate shortest distance or path using the ArcGIS map. Was wondering if anyone had gotten a chance to test this out? Want to know how you did it and what data set was required.

I'm just looking for ideas or what data I need for this to show up. Basically calculating shortest path from destination 1 to destination 2, 3, 4, etc.

I'm not sure that the ArcGIS map can calculate anything for you - it will only display the Power BI result you give it.

You can calculate travel distance etc. (inc. waypoints) via the Google Map Directions API - see https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/directions/  You feed it source and destination (and waypoint) locations and it will return distances, times etc as a JSON dataset.

But there are limits on how many queries you can make before you have to pay...

Thanks for this! I was trying to wrap my head around to see if this can be done via PowerBI. I know it can be done directly in ArcGIS but using Google Maps API might be a better solution.
