Hi, im having a hard time figuring out how to calculate sales which is an item level transaction on my sales table to divide by my building square footage on my location table. For example, if I sell 3 widgets at $1 each, and the building is 10 sq ft, how do I calculate $3/ 10 sq feet? I'm trying to prevent not seeing $3/30 sq feet. Thanks for the help.
@jerryz636 , This 3/10 is in text format or number format.
Can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.
@jerryz636 Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?
Maybe:
Measure =
VAR __Sqft = LOOKUPVALUE('Location'[sqft],...) // not sure what to put here
VAR __Sales = SUM('Sales'[Price])
RETURN
DIVIDE(__Sales,__Sqft,0)

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
