Calculate growth over a period in time

Hello, I am really stuck with a growth calculation that has been bugging me for a while now.

Goal: Find growth over 2015-2020 by different Global Brand Owner (Toyota, Honda, etc) E.g. if Toyota's Unit Sales in 2015 were 25 mln and in 2020 were 27 mln, I'd like to know the total growth between the two periods in % terms (and in absolute terms). I would also like to break this down by different Subcategory (vans, passenger cars, SUVs) and Country. For example, finding the growth of SUV sales in China over 2015-2020. (The dates field, 'Year' runs from 2015-2020 in the file).

I really Appreciate your help!

@rulefox13 , Create a separate a table for year.

If you take a year range then you can use min max year for diff. or USe two slicer or time intelligence

When you use range measure

measure =
var _max = maxx(allselected('Date'), 'Date'[Year])
var _min = Minx(allselected('Date'), 'Date'[Year])
return
calculate(sum(Table[Value]), filter(('Date'), 'Date'[Year] =_max)) -calculate(sum(Table[Value]), filter(('Date'), 'Date'[Year] =_min))
