Calculate cost of power

I'm need to calculate the cost of power used for various devices. The time series data looks like this:

TimestampDeviceWatts
3/19/2019 14:54:29UPS71.4
3/19/2019 14:54:28UPS75.3
3/19/2019 14:54:27UPS71.8
3/19/2019 14:54:26UPS0
3/19/2019 17:54:25UPS71
3/19/2019 19:54:25UPS0

In order to calculate the cost I need to to the following:

1. Determine how many watts are spent in an hour. example: If you have a 60W light bulb, for every hour the bulb is turned on, it uses 60W of power.

2. Divide the number of watts by 1000 to convert the number from watts to kilowatts. example: 60W divided by 1000 results in 0.06kW.

3. Multiply the number of kilowatts by the number of hours the device was used. If the device was used for three hours, multiply 0.06kW by three to produce 0.18kWh. If a 60W light bulb is left on for three hours, it will use 0.18kWh of energy.

4. Multiply the number of kWh by cost of energy per kWh. example: Assuming a kWh costs $0.12 then 0.18 Kwh would cost $0.0216

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

@v-lili6-msft My apoligies. I believe a DAX formula that spits out the total cost of power for each device would be fine. I plan on taking said number and using it in a report.

If I'm not being clear enough please let me know. I'm still learning Power BI. Forumulating the proper quesiton can be a problem in itself sometimes.

hi, @Anonymous

Just from your sample data, we couldn't find out how to "Calculate cost of power".

Share the expected output based on the sample data, and logic of it.
