I have a big list of Measure Items and need to:
1. Calculate timeseries (e.g. Full PY, PYTD, CYTD) to be relevant for all Measure Items rather than calculating 3 times series for each measure
2. Calculate ratios based on the data model measure items (e.g. Product Margin % Net Sales)
So, how should I build my data model / organize data ?
Currently the raw data contains the following columns:
1. Product Category
2. Measure Item (those from the screenshot above)
3. Year
4. Month
5. Value
I could pivot data with Power Query in any way, of course.
MeasureItems field I would like to use as Slicer too if necessary.
I just don't know how can I include the yellow calculated ratios into the slicer ...
Thanks!
Hi @mvlastean
I think what you looking to achive is not availeble yet in Power BI, however there is a link below from MBAS you need to forward until "Calculation Groups" around 50:00 min in the video.
