Calculate Month on Month growth

Hi, 

 

I have the following data and I want to create a calculation to get the monthly growth i.e. From Dec16 to Jan17, Jan17 to Feb17 for the filtered Type Actual Existing Base. Year and Month columns are just text format. Is there any quick way to do that?
