Calculate Data On Date Where Record Doesn't Exist

Hello,

I'm working with a dataset of timecard data where I want to show if a user has not entered the required amount of time for a certain day or week. The issue I'm running into is in cases where the user hasn't entered any time because there is no record for that user on that date. I'm able to use a measure to show the time that should have been recorded by "showing items with no data" for my date field, however once I add that flag, I'm no longer able to filter my date field.

I'm wondering if anyone else has found a solution for this problem? I have about 300 users and multiple years worth of data so I think it will be too slow to build a loop to add 0-value entries where there are gaps, however that's the next thing I'm planning to try.

Thanks in advance.

Wow, that's a really nice approach! Thanks!

Just fought through filtering the table and setting up the union as well so it looks like that did it.

Thanks again!
