Hi all,

A client is asking for creating a custom connector with direct query/live connection with a source in Power BI.

The source is a REST API, and we need directquery with this source as soon as possible. 

Please help.

SupportsDirectQuery is currently only supported for ODBC extensions. You may report feature request through Github issues page.

Can we connect to the REST API from an ODBC driver? And how can we create an ODBC driver? Does Microsoft have some documentation on that?

My company does not have any business with this company Progress.

But according to their website, it has been named a Visionary in Gartner Magic Quadrant, so maybe worth to try it.
