CDM in ADLS Gen 2

I am using Export to data lake (Athena) feature in PowerApps to move data from CDS to ADLS Gen 2 which is creating a CDM folder.I am fetching the data in PowerBI desktop through PowerBI data flows created in the PowerBI service through model.json file.

However I am facing the issue that when option set fields are fetched, only the value for each option is retrieved and label is not. When I use the CDS connector in PowerBI desktop there is a seperate label column. Is there any recommended approach that i can use to get the option set labels when querying the data in ADLS Gen 2 through PowerBI dektop.

 

I have already tried Power BI Option Set Assistant in XrmToolBox.

Hi @Talaal-Sid - have you found a solution for retrieving option set display label values from a Power BI Dataflow data source?

You can create custom column to set labels. You may refer to blog below:

I need to create custom column when i am accessing the data that is already in ADLS Gen 2 and i am using PowerBI dataflows connector in PowerBI desktop.
