CAMBIO TIPO DE DATOS

Hola, tengo una duda, yo cargo mis archivos (.json) en powerbi, creo sus respectivas relaciones pero cuando quiero cambiar el tipo de datos de una columna que es categórica (sus valores son: V,T,X...) me sale error. Alguien sabe porqué no me deja cambiar esa columna a numérico?

Hi @practicas1,

Did you get the error message like this? I think that should be the reson of your data in json file. Do make sure that all the data in the column could be covert to Decimal Number type. If the error still occur, kindly share your file to me.

Hi Frank, the error is this. I send you 2 photos, the column MOV_TIP is text but I try to change date type (decimal number) but this is not possible. Do you know what is the problem?

Actually, you cannot change the data type of the column MOV_TIP here, as "V" is a kind of text string here. Maybe you can replace these text strings to number or filter these text strings out directly and change data type later.
