Hello,
I looked at similar questions but can't figure it out, I am so sorry.
My data looks like this by date. Job name, pulled_revised and accounts_worked are repearted. I need to sum up job pulled and accounts worked based on unique job for the day.
I created a measure for distinct job_name and then tried writing the following measure:
JOB_NAME | JOB_PULLED_REVISED | ACCOUNTS_WORKED |
CO_DF_700_E | 1205 | 1015 |
WI_HRISK_EN | 1744 | 1699 |

It didn't work... it's summing it all the values. I would just like the sum of the distinct job_name
Sorry, i had the formula wrong...
it's this now:
Error I get is:
Too many arguments were passed to the DISTINCT function. The maximum argument count for the function is 1.

It worked!! Thank you so much.
Could you explain why max worked instead of sum ?
Really appreciate this...
