Bypassing Role Level Security

Hello everyone,

I am working on a Power BI dashboard and I need to create a measurement that bypassess the role level security. Any ideas on how to or website links that explain a possible solution to this kind of requirement?

@Anonymous whatever you bypass logic is,  you have to build that logic in your RLS formula basically saying if bypass rules = true then RLS DAX return true otherwise RLS rule is applied.

Check my latest blog post Comparing Selected Client With Other Top N Clients | PeryTUS  I would ❤ Kudos if my solution helped. 👉 If you can spend time posting the question, you can also make efforts to give Kudos to whoever helped to solve your problem. It is a token of appreciation!

If my solution proved useful, I'd be delighted to receive Kudos. When you put effort into asking a question, it's equally thoughtful to acknowledge and give Kudos to the individual who helped you solve the problem. It's a small gesture that shows appreciation and encouragement! ❤

@parry2k Thank your for your reply. Can you please give me more details on this? There is a measurement that I don't want it to get effected by the RLS. The Dax formula for the RLS I have right now is [Customer No] = Username(). The measurement is something like

Avg = CALCULATE(TOTALMTD(AVERAGEX('Measures Mkt Shr',[Mkt Shr YTD]),'Time'[Date]). So how would be the DAX formula to avoid the RLS on this measurement?
