Business user need Power BI to view the reports developed?

Hi,

I am new to power BI and the organization that I am working is trying to implement Power BI for Reporting. Once the developer develops the reports in Power BI desktop and publish to Dashboards and provide th access to group, does the Business users need access to Power BI to view the reports. Or even without the Power BI access can they view the reports with the developer sharing the report link?

To share reports and dashboards you have to have PRO licence. Sharing is made through Shared working groups.

User has to be added to Shared working group to have access to reports and dashboards.

Once it is shared, the user should have access to the report. In some cases I have found that you need to share the workspace if you are using that. I will need the right license, if the report uses Pro features, the business users will need a Pro license.
