Hi!
I'm new to "chaining" datasets together.
I'm building a dataset (let's call in "DataSet2") that needs to use some data from another existing dataset ("DataSet1").
DataSet2 also references other data sources. I've successfully connected DataSet2 to DataSet1.
There is a particular table from DataSet1 that I need to modify slightly and then append to other data in DataSet2. How do I do this?
Alternatively, is there a good way to set up a query in DataSet2 that uses a particular table in DataSet1 as it's source (and not have to deal with "chainging" the full datasets? (Is this possible in Import mode as opposed to directquery?)

Hi @zacksg1 ,
You could use DAX formula to create new tables. There are several function that might help you, please check.

@zacksg1 maybe you can create another table using DAX and union (append) data from both the dataset.

@zacksg1 I don't think it is possible when it is a live connection, you can't have import mode where you can append data.
