Building a Line Chart that drills down Legend to Monthly Dates

Hello,

I'm trying to build one line chart that contains monthly dates in the Legend, but the problem is I can only drill down to Year dates, and not Year & Month dates.  On the other hand, I was able to have all the lines I want if I were to use Small Multiples, but of course with that, with over 50 different months, I have 50 different charts.

In other words, I'm trying to have this all be on one chart. You'll see what I'm referring to in the Legend & Small Multiples selected on the attached images here.  The field "first_purchase_at_hh" should be drilled down to Year & Month dates, and have all 50 months represented (one line for each month) all on one chart, where the X-axis is its own item counting longevity (starting from 0), and the Y-axis is a revenue retention percentage.  Your help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

Hi @smayers

When you use Drill Down feature, it is working on the X-axis fields that it drills from a higher x-axis level to the lower level. It doesn't drill down the legend fields.

Is the field "first_purchase_at_hh" a date hierarchy field? If you want the X-axis to be its own item counting longevity (starting from 0), you need to add the longevity field on X-axis.
