Hi All,
ive spent a good amount of time trawling the forum and building multiple DAX queries, but its just not happening
What im trying to do is calculate a Average Rating for each individual Employee ID, so i can run further analysis in scatter graphs, bell curves etc.
Employees have been given approx, 50 Skills and they need to rate themselves out of 5.
What im trying to do is a Average for each individual employee ID.
How would i build a new query/table...to have a singe employee ID with a Average rating?
my master table with all the skills is called SKILLS
Data is structured like this below.
example would be - Employe ID 123 = avg 4.6
thanks!!

I'm not going to write it for you because you're almost there. It could involve summarizecolumns and average.

Hi @bengia,
How doesn't it work? Is there any error messages? Or wrong results?
Best Regards,
Dale

i did:
Distribution Graph = SUMMARIZECOLUMNS(Skills[Employee ID],"EMP ID", AVERAGE(Skills[Rating]))
thanks
