Hello,
I need help.
Today I refreshed the normal dataset whichI refresh on daily basis and the entire visuals break. I noticed the field names are no longer recognized, hence the visual break.
Before this, the field names appears as individual. For example below:
Dataset name: EmployeeData
Field Name 1: First Name
Field Name 2: Last Name
Field Name 3: Birth Date
After today's refreshed, the field names are appended to the Dataset name. For example below:
Dataset name: EmployeeData
Field Name 1: EmployeeData.First Name
Field Name 2: EmployeeData.Last Name
Field Name 3: EmployeeData.Birth Date
1. Can anyone help to advise why this is happening?
2. Can anyone advise the way to fix this problem, for example if there is a way to format the field name display?
I have hundreds of fields in the dataset and I would appreciate not to update the field name one by one. 🙂
Many thanks in advance

Hi @Mimi_Ibrahim ,
You may use the Merge feature for the table EmployeeData in Query Editor, and ticked the option "Use original column name as prefix". If so, you may check your data query, and not tick this option.
Best Regards,
Amy

@parry2k My data source is Cloudera. I didn't do any change except for updating my PBI desktop to the latest one.
Do you know if the field names can be formatted?
