Hi all,
My datasource is an SQL server, after retrieving the data, I noticed that the timestamp column is returned as Binary. I've tried noumerous conversions without succes to convert the Binary value to timestamp.
Power BI says it's an 8 byte binary and converting it to text results in this: AAAAAAN1STg=
How do I convert the binary or text results to a regular timestamp with Power Query?
Greetz,
Anne
hi, @AnnevBodegom
You may refer to this post:

If not your case, please share some data sample and expected output.

Lin
Thank you for the reply, Lin @v-lili6-msft.
I've read the post you linked below and tried the suggested solution. I have implemented the solution addressed by @Greg_Deckler about converting from hexadecimal with functions successfully in the past. Unfortunately, I cant seem to get anything working on this matter.
The sample data is like this: AAAAAAN1STg=
which is 8 bit binary. I'm trying to convert it to a timestamp: 15-03-2019 10:44:33
Could my locale settings be the issue, since I'm in the Netherlands?
Greetings,
Anne
