Best setup for my organisation...

Hi,

I couldn't find an approriate place to post a question about PBI setup, so I'm posting this here - please move if there is a better place.

I work as a business analyst for a large law firm. I'm looking for a neat solution for deploying reports to managers. At the moment I'm sharing Excel workbooks either via email or by placing them in shared network folders.

The spreadsheets themselves work perfectly but I'm having problems with end users being able to upate date (SQL) and also 'educational' problems when it comes to using pivot tables.

I've been trialing Power BI for a couple of years now and it does look great - I can get it to do exactly what I want it to do to provide the reports that I need to share.

I'm having trouble getting my head around which product it is that I need to buy to get the reports shared to the managers - we have around 20 managers that I would like to share reports with and I'd like the users to access the reports via a web browser or mobile app.

What's the best solution for this?

For 20 users, your best bet is probably going to be licensing Pro for each of those users and yourself. See my Power BI Licensing in Pictures:

Thanks! That's really useful.

So, if everyone has a pro license and I write a report that connects to our SQL server using a direct query, will my co-workers be able to refresh the reports using the service?
