[Beginner] Calculating total value of open sales found in the past, present and 3months ahead

Hello all,

I am starting to use Power BI tool and learning the ropes of data analytics. I currently have the following task and I am uncertain how to approach the calculatation of a sales value that must fulfill the following conditions:

1. Take into account the value of sales entered in the past period (i.e. 30/09/2017)
2. take into account the value of sales entered in the present period (i.e. 23/10/2018)
3. take into account the value of sales that are planned 3 months ahead from the current date

Any advice would be sincerely appriciated advice.
