Bar chart with date (month) columns

Hi all,

 

Looking to re-create something thats possible in another BI platform 😥. I need to create a bar chart (stacked or clustered, doesnt matter) that contains monthly columns. Similar to what I managed to create in Power BI below. My example is a matrix with data bars. The issue is a requirement that each bar is color coded per partner_id. You can only conditionally format based on value for data bars (that I'm aware of). 

 

I either need to color code by partner_ID in a matrix OR build a bar chart that allows for column by month values where I can take advantage of colored bars.

 

EDIT: I'm aware of small multiples. It only allows for a max of 6 columns, which prevents me from doing 1 row.

You can make a bar chart/stacked chart, and use Partner ID column again in Legend property of the visual. Just play with these settings and perhaps you can achieve the desired output.

While this does color code by partner, it doesnt give me the visual format I'm looking for. The request is for it to be formatted as my initial picture above, just with partner color coded.
