Bar Chart: Filtering Individual bars

Is it possible to filter individual bars in Power BI?

For example, I have a bar chart that shows the count of resources by month. I want the data for February in this chart to be further filtered down according to a set condition.

Is this possible?

Hi @Anonymous ,

No, you can't. Filter will be applied to the whole visuals. As mentioned by nvprasad, you can use drill down  as a workaround. Please refer to https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/consumer/end-user-drill

Hi

You can do it by adding next-level columns to the axis bar. Ex: Product category is first column Axis then you can add ProductName below that to see drill down respective product category.

Appreciate a Kudos! 🙂
If this helps and resolves the issue, please mark it as a Solution! 🙂
