I'm trying to figure out how to design a bar chart that contains data at different levels. I need to create a chart that shows Prior Year End actual, Current Quarter Actual, Current Quarter Plan, Year End Plan in this order. The only way I can think to accomplish this would be to create a custom column based on date selected in the slicer. Is it possible do this this? I'm still struggling to learn DAX, but I know it can do amazing things.
This is an example of what the users want to see - Example Look - The main task I'm struggling is how to turn quarter end data into 4 different bars (Prior year end actual, Current Quarter Actual, Current Quarter Plan, Year End Plan)

Nope, power bi does not support to create dynamic calculate column/table based on filter/slicer.
