Backlog Trend analysis

Hi all,

I'm looking to generate a trend of open client requests.

Power BI is connected directly to the CRM - for performance reason i'm gathering only the outstandings tickets.

The refresh is performed once per week.

Is it possible to have the trend per week of the number of outstanding clients requests?

Thanks in advance for your help

@STR yes you can, you can get to any granular level as far as you have a column for that granularity. Any time intelligence-based trending, add a calendar dimension in your model and add a weekly column in it and then visualize on that week column,

There are many posts that show how to add calendar/date dimension in the model, it is a best practice for time intelligence-based calculations.

Thanks Parry for your answer.

The calendar is already set and i can display the backlog of this week. But i'm looking more for a trend - previous week.

As the data is refreshed daily, and not info is not stored, how can i have this historical view at a specific week?

Thanks
