BUdget Year with Date and Fiscal year

Hi Community,

I trying to get Budget year based on date and Fical Year.

Our fiscal year from 1 July to 30 june.

Calender Table =
ADDCOLUMNS (
    ADDCOLUMNS (
        CALENDAR ( DATE ( 2013, 7, 1 ), DATE ( YEAR(TODAY()), 12, 31 ) ),
        "Year", YEAR ( [Date] ),
        "MonthNameShort", FORMAT ( [Date], "mmm" ),
        "MonthNumber", MONTH ( [Date] )
    ),
    "FY", IF ( [MonthNumber] >= 7, [Year] + 1, [Year] ))

Based on this I am trying to get Budget year.

But from Jan 1, I am not geeting Budget Year as expected.

Can anyone help me how can i fix this.

I fixed it,

var FYyear = IF ( 'Calender Table'[MonthNumber] >= 7,( 'Calender Table'[Date].[Year] )+ 1, 'Calender Table'[Date].[Year] )
Var thisyear = RIGHT(FYyear,2)
Var samedately = IF ( 'Calender Table'[MonthNumber] >= 7,('Calender Table'[Date].[Year]),'Calender Table'[Date].[Year]-1)
var lastyear = Right(samedately,2)

Thanks !

Hi  @cv2qm ,

If your issue is solved, can you make the case as answered to close it?

@cv2qm

I did get the logic the value in jan, but you can use datesytd and totalytd with date calendar. You can mention year-end date

YTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESYTD(('Date'[Date]),"6/30"))
This Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESYTD((ENDOFYEAR('Date'[Date])),"6/30"))

Last YTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESYTD(dateadd('Date'[Date],-1,Year),"6/30"))
Last YTD complete Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESYTD(ENDOFYEAR(dateadd('Date'[Date],-1,Year)),"6/30"))

To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :
