Hello Everyone!
I’ve been working with the bing map visual and I’m having the following issue:
I have this two tables, one that shows all CLIENTS and the other table shows SALES. They are related by “clinet_id”, *..1 in a one way going direction (from CLIENTS to SALES).
I am currently showing the geolocation of all the clients in the map (the CLIENTS table has a "location" field); but I want to show the clients that have sales (active clientes) in one color, and the ones that do not have sales (inactive clients) in a different color.
To acomplish this task, the first thing I did is creating a measure in the CLIENTS table, called ACTIVITY = IF ( ISBLANK ( SUM ( SALES[total] ) ) ; "0" ; "1" ).
The measure works as expected. However, I cannot drag this measure field into the “LEGEND” space of the map, where It’s supposed to be in order to separate my clients into different colors by activity.
Now I'm guessing the map does not support a measure as a legend field, so I've tried to put the measure into a field, but the field's behaviour is not equal to the measures' (it does not change dinamically as it should)
Any ideas to solve this inconvenient I'm having would be nice! 😃
Hi @gfiori ,
AFAIK, power bi visuals not support use measure on axis and legend fields. Measures are are expressions, they not able to use as category to summarize or group records.
