Hi all,
Sorry a bit new to BI. I have about 6 years of data in Azure Table Storage. Is there a way where I can only retrieve the last 6 months? The entire refresh takes hours and I am looking to limit it. Is there anything that can be added after Source or can this only be filtered aftered all the data has been downloaded?
let
Source = AzureStorage.Tables("https://xxxxx.net/"),
xxxxx1 = Source{[Name="xxxxx"]}[Data]
in
#"xxxxx1"
Thank you
Hi @NiugeS,
You can use date type parameter to retrieve data from last 6 months in power bi desktop.
Please refer:https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-query/power-query-query-parameters#creating-a-parameter

Best Regards,

@NiugeS , Query parameter can help, but depend on source

@amitchandak Thank you for your response. I'm just reading through this article. Will this work using desktop? I.e. if i'm not publishing it to the webapp?
