Hi There
In my report I have 10 pages. All need same filter based on a column Start_Date. Thus, I have used Start_Date as my Filers on all pages. That filter is used to select one month worth of data.
But the last page, requires to show a Trend graph for last 18 months. Thus, I need to first avoid the effect of report level filter and have a different filter for that last page.
After going through the forum, I have seen many suggestions about Edit Interaction. I tried that but that Report Level filter still has its effect.
Can you suggest anything?
Michael.

@Anonymous
Please refer the below link to achieve it with the "Sync Slicers".
We can enable this feature in page level, if not required the particular page. we can keep it disabled.

Hi there,
You can put your filters in a Home Page and apply it before entering the report. Here is a video where the home page in power BI is very well explained.

Slicers and Filters are two different elements in power bi.
Interaction Control - control one to one or one to many interaction between visuals
Sync Slicers - is again to allow slicer to impact one page or multiple pages.
Pleases let me know what exactly you want from these three things

Hi Vijay
Thank you and me being new to Power BI, your explanations are bit hard for me to digest now. I need to educate myself bit more before I can speak the same language.
All, I want keep using the same filter for all the pages, except the last page. For last page I have created a column like
Power BI is Quite easy to learn and you will.
In case you want slicer not to control the last page you need to use Sync Slicer option and donot sync the last page.
For Example
In the below screenshot , I have 3 pages. and in the right hand side I have Sync Slicer Pane where I have selected only page 1 and 2 for interaction and only Page 1 for Slicer visibility.
That means This slicer will not impact my last page at all!
Hope this clarifies

Thank you and it seems to work.
I had to remove the all pages filter and then add a slicer in a page, sync the slicer for all the pages, except the last one. For the last one, I had my own filter.
Thanks
Hope my solution worked For you if so please add Kudos
