Hi guys,
I am having trouble getting the average of a measure (I know this topic has been covered loads but I can't get the answer I expect).
I want to get the average of the measure 'Diff. Between CY and LY %', for the last 3 months from the latest selected date (Jan 18 in this case). The answer I expect is 6.84%
The table below shows the data.
The measure I have tried to write is the following:
Last 3 Months % Difference Average = AVERAGEX( DATEADD( LASTDATE('Date Table'[Date]),-3,MONTH), [Diff. Between CY and LY %] )
Any help is appreciated.

Hi @jcarville,
You could have a try with the formula below.
Last 3 Months % Difference Average= AVERAGEX ( DATESINPERIOD ( 'Date Table'[Date], SELECTEDVALUE ('Date Table'[Date] ), -3, MONTH ), [Diff. Between CY and LY %] )
Here is the test result.
Best Regards,
Cherry

You probably need a SUMMARIZE or a GROUPBY in there. See my quick measures that do similar things to what you are trying to do and use those functions.
