Automating Report Level Date Filter to TODAY

Is there a way for me to have a report date filter update to reflect TODAY automatically? 

I currently have to manually select today's date but if there is a way for it to update automatically, it will be a great help. 

Reason I have to put a filter is because the data that I have changes daily and there are forcasted data that will throw off my model.

Many people create a calculated columns or measures to calculate the days between TODAY and a date column in your fact table. Then you can set the filter to equal 0 and you will always have today essentially.
