Automatic selection of the last month

I have a filter x Month /Year, I would like that when entering the dashboard, automatically the last month / Year is selected from that list.

According to your description, you can try to put the date field in the slicer and use the relative date slicer or relative date filter function. Save the selected results, refer to the following.

You can save the relative date as last 1 month in the filter pane and save then publish the report.

Hello, I actually wish that when you open the report the user sees it this way.

Then he can change the month if you wish.
