I have created an internal dashboard that is linked to multiple Azure SQL DB's, MSX (api call) and a few static CSV's. Most data is import and not a direct query because a number of transformations are done on the import in PBI itself.
I would like to have the data refreshed automatically, but it seems like this can only be done with direct query or with a gateway. Logically, I would say that this should also possible with import, since the db's are running on azure, MSX is an API call and the cs's don't need to be refreshed.

@mmossel , I think case of import you have schedule refresh

Direct Query brings data directly from database so no refresh needed
