Automatic filters based on the user

Hi,

i want to share a report across the company but not everyone has to see everything.

Is it possible to create report's filters based on the user that is logged in?

Example:

I have 3 report level filters: Management,Sales and Purchase.

User1 log into the report and "Management filter" is automaticcally applied and blocked.

User2 log into the report and "Sales filter" is automaticcally applied and blocked.

How can i do that? RLS?

If there were several users specified to access the report content, static RLS is applicative. Reference here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-rls

If there were many users to be maintained , you could add them into a security group/distribution group then using static RLS, alternatively, dynamic RLS is preferred.  Reference here: https://radacad.com/dynamic-row-level-security-with-power-bi-made-simple

I’ve attached the sample for ease.

Once the logon username is consistent with the responsible person’s address , filter will be applied and block.
