Automatic connection to Progress database from Power BI Desktop?

Hello, is there a way to get data from a Progress OpenEdge Database using Power BI Desktop? Thanks a lot.

What does it run on?  For example, does it use an SQL database on your hardware?

 

If you don't know, what outputs can you get it to generate? Could you get it to export a data dump into an Excel file onto a shared network drive?
