Authentication methods to connect from Power BI to Azure database

Hi Everyone,

I would like to know which authenticatoin options we have to connect from Power BI to Azure Database. For now, we know sql accounts can be used. But I would like to know if can be used service managed identity (smi), service account (AAD), etc.

Hi @gmerinovs,

If you are work with azure SQL server, it is possible to use azure ad account as the credentials to get data. You can refer to the following link to know more about this:
