Hi All,
I have the area chart showing values by date with a legend to differentiate between weekdays and weekends. It works fine except that the line is disconnected. Is there a way to connect the dots?

Hi @Anonymous ,
You could use Stream Graph to get result and turn off the "Wiggle" in General.

@v-eachen-msft Thanks. The streamchart seems to work OK. It was able to distinguish Weekend, Weekday. But the data lable is all messed up. I can see that yours don't look ideal either. I had to just give up on the original idea for now but I can see the streamchart might work for somebody if they don't need the data label.
@Anonymous , In Visual level formating. Under X-axis properties try Changing the Type to Continous
@amitchandak I did that but the moment I changed it, it switched back to "Categorical"
Hi @Anonymous ,
Does that make sense? If so kindly mark my answer as a solution to close the case. Thanks in advance.
