Are slicer values added to a Matrix?

Hi All,

Are slicer selections added to a Matrix? I heard that a slicer value is added to a Matrix which would help not only with space (no horizontal scrolling in a Matrix)  but also the person who gets the export of the Matrix would know what the sort parameters are.

Ok,

I have a slicer for from-to data range

I have a Matrix with a date field a name and description fields

I export the Matrix in CSV format. Does the from-to value shown in the slicer show up in the csv export somewhere? Remember the date field shows the results of the sort not what the user selected.

Just a FYI the slicer values do not show up in the export in Power BI Desktop but they do in Power BI Pro.

Is there a view option in Power BI Desktop to  show the report like it would be if in Power BI Service or Pro?
