Arcgis error lookup

Hi all,

For the current dashboard I am working on I use the Arcgis map visualisation, although I really love the visual and the options so far there is something that bugged me. When I load my data in it, it returns an error saying "Failed to locate 5 features" So after seeing that I want to know which records are the ones giving errors. So far I got the impression you can't see that anywhere, but I hoped someone else knew a way.

If someone has knowledge of other restrictions like not being able to use "-" or something that would help too.

This issue has been confirmed by ESRI as a bug in Power BI visual. However, it should be fixed already. See:

https://community.esri.com/thread/202281-why-does-the-esri-visual-fail-to-locate-different-features-each-time-it-loads

Have you updated your Power BI Desktop into latest version? If the issue still persists after update, please leave feedback in above thread.

Hi @v-sihou-msft,

I have the latest update of Power BI installed, I just tested it with another random dataset and that one also gives errors. Could you perhaps check if you get the same error message as me. (to see if it is my Power BI or not)

I used this dataset:

https://developers.google.com/public-data/docs/canonical/countries_csv

Capture.PNG.

Anyway it would help if we could have insight into the errors like which "feature" can't be found. The thread you linked does'nt say anything about insight in errors. (I am waiting for account approval to report the issue in the thread you linked)

Regards,

L.Meijdam
